HWNT would like to recognize Carmen Solis-Rodriguez for her dedication
to our team. We appreciate Carmen opening her lovely home as the hostess
for our August membership meeting. Thank you for your hospitality and
warmth. She is our current Scholarship Chair and she is helping our
group provide scholarships for deserving girls. She has been in HWNT for
over a year and formerly served as our Chair Elect. She served as our
liaison to the HWNT State Officers and helped represent our group at the
state annual meeting. Carmen is committed to promoting education and
supporting youth in our community as the Principal of Brown Middle
School. We appreciate all the enthusiasm she shares with our team.

Morning Mantras
Having a not-so-good morning, where coffee just isn't cutting it? Whatever it is that is slowing you down, remember, this too shall pass! Focus on the positive things in your life because there are others who may have it worse.
Special thanks to Alejandra Contreras and Sonia Morales for sharing these special mantras with us last night at HWNT's monthly meeting! And also a big thank you to Diana Schultz whose generosity and hospitality were definitely appreciated.
Have your own special mantra? Feel free to share in this post's comment section!
