EDUCATION UPDATE:
Our team is kicking-off our Latinas in Progress education program. We are recruiting female teens to participate in our Latinas in Progress college-prep program. Girls will meet one Saturday a month for leadership, college readiness workshops, and community service projects. Our orientation & college essay writing workshop will be held on Saturday, October 17th at the Jose Cisneros Library (1300 Hawkins) from 2:00-3:30pm. Please share this opportunity with area girls. COMMUNITY SERVICE:
Our team was invited by the YMCA to volunteer during their KABOOM playground project on October 3rd at the Fred Loya YMCA location.
