Latinas in Progress Welcomes New Members

The Hispanic Women’s Network of Texas is currently accepting applications for new members to join our Latinas in Progress college readiness program. The LIP Education Series consists of five learning sessions, city wide volunteer opportunities, and HWNT mentors.  This group meets every other week from October to December for FREE college prep workshops geared toward high schoolers. Youth in the program benefit from connecting with a mentor and assistance throughout the college application process. We are encouraging local girls to take advantage of this opportunity to develop leadership and college readiness skills. Through community support from volunteers and community partners, this free of cost program offers girls an opportunity to learn about the steps to prepare for college.
